The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a must-see sight in Hanoi. It serves as the resting place of the revered Vietnamese revolutionary leader, Ho Chi Minh. The stark yet imposing structure reflects Ho Chi Minh’s simple life. 

The mausoleum is made of granite and gray stone. It has a square base and a pyramidal roof. Ho Chi Minh’s body is preserved in a glass sarcophagus inside the mausoleum. Visitors can file past the sarcophagus to pay their respects. Lưu ý (Lưu ý: Notice):  It’s important to dress modestly when visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Shorts, sleeveless shirts, and hats are not permitted.

8. One pillar pagoda (Chùa một cột)

In Hanoi, there’s a cool temple called the One Pillar Pagoda, or Chua Mot Cot in Vietnamese. Built way back in the 1000s, it’s a Buddhist temple that looks different from all the others.
